Super 8 Film.
Let’s talk about it.
Nostalgia you can feel. Memories you can hold.
Super 8 film brings a timeless, cinematic quality to your wedding day; soft grain, warm colors, and the gentle flicker of real film that instantly transports you back in time. Unlike digital video, Super 8 captures movement and emotion in a way that feels intimate, organic, and beautifully imperfect. It’s less about documenting every moment and more about feeling them again.
Why Couples Love Super 8
Authentic nostalgia – It looks and feels like the home movies our parents and grandparents made.
Movie-like storytelling – Every second is intentional, crafted with an editorial eye.
Tangible and timeless – Your footage is physically developed and scanned, preserving it for generations.
Emotion over perfection – The grain, color shifts, and texture give your wedding film soul.
Michayla & Cannon
Michayla and Cannon exchanged vows on a sun-drenched hillside in Southern California, the kind of place where the light feels almost cinematic on its own. Their intimate ceremony felt beautifully personal, like the world had paused just for them. But as the sun dipped lower, their celebration opened up into a lively reception filled with the larger community that has cheered them on from the start. Laughter spilled across the hilltop, toasts echoed into the evening, and joy seemed to move in every direction. Filming it all on Super 8 gave the day a warm, nostalgic texture; turning their wedding into a timeless, flickering reel of the love and support that surrounds them.
Katie & Joey
Katie and Joey had a magnificent, intimate wedding at Katie’s parent’s property complete with a hillside vineyard. The bride walked through the rows of vines in a stunning black gown that set the tone for a wedding that was equal parts bold and deeply sentimental. The nostalgic warmth of Super 8 transformed the day into something timeless, making their unconventional, heartfelt celebration feel like a cinematic keepsake pulled from another era.
Ty & Laura
Laura came to me with an absolutely fantastic idea to have a vintage inspired engagement shoot caught entirely on film. With a classic silver Porsche as their backdrop, the couple cruised down quiet backroads, laughter spilling out as the sun glinted off chrome and film rolled through the camera. The Super 8 brought out every nostalgic detail—the wind-tousled hair, the shine of the Porsche’s curves, the effortless chemistry between them—creating an engagement film that feels like a lost reel from a timeless love story.
Erin & Espen
Erin and Espen’s New York wedding reception felt less like an event and more like a full neighborhood takeover in the best possible way. It was a true block party, the kind where music drifts between houses, kids weave between lawn games, and every father on the block proudly gathers around a whole pig they’ve been smoking since sunrise. The air buzzed with laughter, dancing, and that unmistakable feeling of community showing up for each other. Filming it all on Super 8 gave the day an irresistible, nostalgic glow: every cheer, every spin on the dance floor, every smoky, celebratory moment captured with the warm, flickering charm of real film. It wasn’t just a reception; it was a memory stamped into the street itself.
